First step is always repair the gut. If you were not breast fed as a baby you need bifidobacteria.

Eliminate food sensitivities gluten, nightshade vegetables, dairy, eggs, corn, soy and yeasts such as breads and beer, nutritional yeast is ok. Surround yourself with foods you can eat and reintroduce slowly the sensitive foods and you will know right away at this point if you are sensitive to them. Common symptoms are stuffy nose, digestion issues of bloating, constipation, gas, itchy ears, skin break out, eczema and headaches. Add in vegetables, whole foods not processed, sprouts and fermented sprouts, fermented vegetables and bone broth from organic grass fed animals.

In America any skin/beauty product that advertises it contains collagen is useless because it’s synthetic, only natural from animals works and is not allowed in the U.S. The collagen from bone broth is excellent for repairing the gut and gut lining.

Your body perceives digestive problems as stress and releases cortisol an incredibly important hormone we can’t live without but it can shut down our progesterone receptors and messes with our thyroid. Correct sugar levels that would equal an insulin release that creates a cortisol spike. When our hormones are used up our blood sends them to the liver to be mixed with bile for removal out of your system. If your liver is not fully functioning you can’t break down these hormones and expel them. This causes excess hormones now circulating and you stop producing new ones.

Start a 3-5 day juicing fast that includes bitters such as dandelion, parsley and lemon including the rind. With a thyroid issue do not juice cruciferous vegetables such as kale or broccoli they will slow down thyroid function, they are fine cooked or lightly steamed.

Detoxing is something everyone goes through at night while we are sleeping. Chinese Medicine breaks the body down into three stages detoxification, assimilation and appropriation. If you are toxic when you wake up in the morning you will feel groggy, a thick film on your tongue and just don’t feel great.

Fruit, vegetables and greens are detoxifying and a faster way is to juice them. Meditation, breathing and exercise also help to purge the body of toxins.

There are four methods of elimination which are defecation, urination, perspiration and respiration. Ways to assist this are drinking a lot of water, enemas, dry skin brushing and deep breathing.

He has a retreat where he teaches a 21 day fast and dispels the myth and says no your not hungry on the fast. After 48 hours your body goes into ketosis and starts burning fat. When you move into fat burning mode it’s quite different and your not really hungry. Every major religion for centuries has promoted fasting.

Detox your house and your environment also, a lot of wealthy people when they buy new furniture will leave it in a warehouse for six months to off gas the formaldehyde. You can take an onion put it in a bowl of water and it will extract toxins from the air. Houseplants are also great for cleaning indoor air. It’s crucial you use natural soaps and cleansers, no antibacterial soaps just use basic soap with no artificial fragrance.

Do a detox for health and extra weight will naturally come off, doing a detox for weight loss and the weight usually comes back. When you properly detox your body you become more alkaline. When your lymphatic system is acidic it goes into a hypertrophic fat state, this is where cellulite comes from to protect itself from the level of acid that exists. Clear out the digestive system to help unclog your liver with fiber rich foods, bitter foods also help. Cleansing also clears out emotional toxins as well as physical.
